The SPICE courseware on Intellectual Capital is now available for use in education

The Intellectual Capital curriculum is a 30 ECTS study programme, measuring the workload of a student during six months of study, and based on the different parameters such as student workload, learning outcomes and contact hours. Student workload in ECTS includes the time spent in attending lectures, seminars, independent study, preparation for, and taking of, examinations, etc.

The focus of the programme is a series of four thematically linked streams and an Integration Unit.

  • KCT 1: Intellectual Capital and the Knowledge economy
  • KCT 2 Managing Human Capital in the Knowledge Economy
  • KCT 3: IC Perspective and Managing business processes in the knowledge economy
  • KCT 4: Managing Brands and Networks
  • KCT 5: Integration path

The structure is set up in such a way that each stream can be studied separately and independently from the others. The course units have a non-linear and flexible structure. Each theme is structured in 2 units of 3 ECTS each. This flexible structure enables:

  • an easy introduction of the course into the curricula of all three partner institutions as part of the degree programmes, using different parameters to quantify the student workload.
  • contractual education (on-line learning and in-service training) to non- for contractual education to non-degree students in industry and organizations.
  • the use of the course across a variety of programmes and modes of delivery.
